What can I do if I suspect fraud?

Please keep in mind that in the fewest cases it is actually a fraud. The willingness to handle the transaction via an escrow service underlines the seriousness and integrity of the seller. Should you nevertheless assume a fraud, we recommend the following procedure: If not already done, please contact the seller. Try to find an amicable solution. If you do not reach an agreement, please check your legal steps and talk to a lawyer or the police in this regard. If the other party does not respond to your contact request and comment within 14 days, please write to [email protected]. We will try to contact the seller and ask him for a statement. If we do not receive a response within 14 days, we will transfer the deposited amount back to you. If the recipient gets back to us within 14 days and gives us a reason not to refund the money, the money will remain safely in the escrow account until an agreement is reached. If no agreement is reached between the parties, the last step is to take legal action. The legal process ensures that the case is fully reviewed and that no unjustified decisions are made by PAYLAX. PAYLAX, as a trustee, is not able to review complaints remotely and make decisions based on statements made by the parties (buyer or seller) about the outcome of the funds. As a fiduciary, we are obligated to protect the interests of both parties and are not authorized to release or reverse users funds without their consent.
